In the Autumn of 2007 the Swedish Chamber Orchestra performed abroad in Copenhagen, London, Valencia, Zaragoza, Jaen and Stresa. In the Spring of 2008 the SCOs third tour took place to the USA. Within Sweden, the ensemble opened the 2007/08 season in Örebro and has additionally performed concerts in Gothenburg, Kopparberg, Vara, Kumla and Solna.
Whether performing abroad, in Örebro, or in other parts of Sweden, the Swedish Chamber Orchestra is perceived as a trademark that profiles all of the region of Örebro. At the local merchant's annual gala in Örebro, the Swedish Chamber Orchestra won an award for Ambassador 2007 for the city of Örebro.
